A 12-year-old boy died on Saturday after receiving an electric shock when the battery of his Chinese-make toy burst.
The incident took place in Dhandhadi town near here, police said.
Kuldeep Parmar, the boy, had put the battery on charging mode when it exploded, police said.
He was taken to Rajkot Civil Hospital where he was declared dead, police said.
