The flip flops involving Kangna Ranaut’s role in the upcoming Tezz continues. After news went about town that Kangy was opting out of the film’s promotions, the makers now claim that this isn’t really true. In fact, they are trying hard to ensure she receives due credit for the film and are even insisting that there isn’t any bad blood between its cast members.
“Kangna’s name getting dragged into a controversy like this is surprising,” says a close associate of the actress, adding that Kangy remains a very integral part of the film. “She is all there for the movie, and by no means does she have a small role in the film. Though the film is prominently about Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor, Kangna isn’t merely there for eye candy. Such rumours about her role being slashed are very disappointing.” So if you see Kangy going about town, promoting the film in her own, pretty way, don’t be surprised.
Producer Ratan Jain, meanwhile, unperturbed by these rumours flying back and forth, says, “Everybody here is clear about how the final film would be shaping up. Kangna is integral to the film’s plot and it’s her love story with Ajay that drives the film. She is not being ignored, nor is she feeling so.”
