While everybody loves planning and hosting house parties, the thing that worries the best of us is the hassle that is mixing and serving the drinks. Well, not anymore. For `5,000, you can hire not only a stylish bartender, but also rent the entire bar for the night. And they are now available in a range of quirky themes as well.

Launched by Gaurish Rangnekar, mixologist and founder of Mumbai’s The Den restaurant, the BarMobile is a portable bar service. “It’s a door-to-door premium bartending service, comprising a bartender, a bar assistant and a full-fledged makeshift bar,” says Gaurish.
Gaurish’s BarMobile consists of a suitcase that opens into a full-fledged bar with several kinds of glasses one may need for the party, bar tools like shakers, strainers, bar spoons, muddlers, juicers, flaring bottles etc, and a complementary 5 kgs of ice. “The best part is that it doesn’t take a lot of time,” he says, “Give us just 15 minutes and we will turn any place into a swanky bar. No need to worry whether the guests are getting their drinks refilled regularly or not. All you got to do is sit down and enjoy the party. We will take care of the guests.”
And depending on what drinks you want served, they have several themes as well. For instance, the “Carribbean Crew” is a bar designed to serve rum and tequila-based cocktails, while “Shaken and Stirred” serves only martinis and Manhattans. For those who love French cocktails like mimosa, there’s the “An Evening in Paris”.
