The Gwalior bench of Jabalpur High Court on Thursday admitted a petition regarding non-payment of production-linked fees and issued notices to the producer and the director of the widely acclaimed film Paan Singh Tomar. It depicts the life story of Army subedar Paan Singh Tomar, who was an Indian athlete and a seven-time national steep-lechase champion during the 1950s and 1960s. He represented India at the 1958 Asian Games in Tokyo but later turned into a dacoit.
The court has issued notice to the producer of the film, Ronnie Screwvala, and director Tigmanshu Dhulia and has given them four weeks’ time to reply. It is in response to a petition for the recovery of `40 lakh — an amount that was supposed to have been paid according to an agreement to Balwant Singh Tomar, a nephew of Paan Singh Tomar. The petitioner has contended that an amount of `40 lakh was to be paidfor providing inputs for the script and also fixing the locations for shooting.

Terminator star Nick Stahl missing
Melbourne: Hollywood actor Nick Stahl, who played John Connor in Terminator 3, has gone missing, and his wife fears that his disappearance is linked to drug use. Rose Stahl filed a missing person’s report with the Los Angeles Police Department on Monday, saying she last saw him on May 9, according to TMZ.com. According to sources, Stahl has been hanging out in the rough Los Angeles wholesale district, Skid Row of late.
Stahl, 32, appeared opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. He replaced Edward Furlong in the role of John Connor but producers of the fourth Terminator film, Terminator Salvation, cast Christian Bale in the role. — ANI
