Goa police arrested a person for allegedly raping and murdering a four-year-old girl on Tuesday.
The victim, a resident of suburban Kurla area in Mumbai, has been on a visit to her grandfather's house during the summer vacation. But she went missing on May 20.
A construction worker spotted the decomposed remains of the victim's body at a construction site in Quepem on Tuesday morning, according to reports.
Police sources say the accused, a construction worker, first raped and then cut her body into pieces.
