At least 34 sex workers have been detained here after a raid on a brothel, police said on Wednesday.
Meerut police, following a tip-off by activists of a Delhi-based NGO, raided the brothel on Tuesday evening, SSP K. Satyanarayan said.
Among the sex workers were minors from Nepal, the SSP said, adding, they are likely to be produced before a court on Wednesday.
