An Indian Air Force chopper carrying security personnel made an emergency landing at Chiyanchi aerodrum at Medininagar in Jharkhand's Palamu district following a technical snag on Monday.
Jharkhand Director General of Police G.S. Rath said over phone that an engineer was rushed from Ranchi to rectify the snag in the chopper.
Rath is on a visit to Garo jungle along with Inspector General level police officers to inspect the ongoing anti-Maoist operation 'Octopus-2' there.
