[1]Emraan Hashmi isn’t very happy with uncle Mahesh Bhatt’s online activities. The actor, who is at the peak of his career, has put a gag order on the senior Bhatt from making any “premature revelations” about Raaz 3.
Bhatt has shared quite a few pictures from the film’s actual shoot on Twitter leading to speculations building around the horror franchise. “Emraan felt that it was too premature to make any revelations about Raaz 3, because these isolated pictures were sending out the wrong message. In fact it was also being interpreted that Bipasha (Basu) was playing a megalomaniac in the film. Whether or not it is true is a different story, but Emraan wanted to have a sudden burst of promotion few weeks before the release of the film, instead of feeding viewers with frequent anecdotes and spoil the suspense,” said a source close to the Bhatts.
As a result Emraan put a gag order on the Twitter activities and Bhatt had to comply, albeit reluctantly. “I disagreed with Emraan but since it was a collective call with Vikram (Bhatt) too endorsing his point of view, I stepped away,” Mahesh says.
Well, Bhatts certainly have another reason to wonder about the direction their association with Emraan Hashmi is taking.
