A judge recalled an arrest warrant — issued for Lindsay Lohan for allegedly setting off her court-ordered, booze-sensing ankle bracelet, after 20,000 dollars were posted by a bail bondsman.
The judge released the warrant after the troubles star allegedly stopped wearing her alcohol-monitoring bracelet that was ordered by the government.
But merely after an hour, a bail bondsman deposited $20,000 bail, which is 10 per cent of Lohan’s $200,000 bail.
Lohan can now be free from further probation violations till her driving under influence hearing on July.
Judge Marsha Revel of the Los Angeles superior court said that Lohan had violated her probation after the closed-door meeting with lawyers in Beverly Hills.

Dancer faints after 64-hour performance

The noted Mohiniyattam exponent, Kalamandalam Hemalatha, who took up the daunting task of dancing continuously for five days, collapsed of severe fatigue on stage in the early hours of Wednesday after performing for close to 64 hours.
Hemalatha started her dance marathon at 11.30 am on Sunday at the Lulu Convention Centre in Thrissur. Her aim was to perform for 109 hours to break the record of 108 hours held by Hyderabadi dancer and enter the Guinness World Records.
As per rules, the dancer took five-minute breaks every one hour and sometimes danced continuously for several hours to take longer breaks.
