Masumeh goes out of Africa

After Celina Jaitley’s Egypt connection, it’s now time for another Bollywood beauty to make an overseas overture. Masumeh was recently invited by the Nigerian government to promote a “Safer Nigeria” campaign. But for those who think that the campaign seems rather out of the blue, the truth is that Masumeh has had a long-standing connection with Nigeria, which goes back to the time of her grandfather Prem Anand.
A source revealed, “Masumeh’s grandfather Prem Anand was a pioneering distributor overseas. He had a moving theatre company and would show movies to the public in the 60s, just as you see Ahay Deol’s character in the Road movie doing.”
Masumeh was invited to work on charitable causes that aim to raise awareness on education and peace. “She was honoured to be invited to work on such vital issues,” the source added.
