The Olympic fever seems to have infected Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s government which on Friday announced a two per cent ‘Sports Quota’ for meritorious sportspersons in all government jobs.
Olympians will get priority over all other sports winners in the selection for employment.
The candidate sele-cted for the sports quota must represent the department in which he or she is appointed for at least five years, starting from the time of appointment.
