PMG beat D. Force Academy by eight wickets in a one-sided contest to clinch the 2nd HMV U-17 cricket tournament here on Tuesday.
Led by Ishpreet Singh (5/14), PMG’s attack bundled out D. Force Academy for 130 in 34 overs. The academy batsmen failed to rise to the occasion as Singh, Aditya Sharma (3/11) and Anmol (2/15) struck at regular intervals. Karan Pal (30) was the highest scorer for D. Force Academy.
The PMG batsmen then made short work of the target chasing it down in 22 overs for the loss of two wickets with Sahil Bedi (40) leading from the front.
Scores: D. Force Academy 130 in 34 overs (Karan Pal 30; Ishpreet Singh 5/14, Aditya Sharma 3/11) lost to PMG 134/2 in 22 overs (Sahil Bedi 40).
