Prachi gets the Mumtaz look

Everybody is talking about Prachi Desai’s look in her forthcoming movie Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and designer Rushi, the woman behind the transformation tells us that she went back to the 70’s and actress Mumtaz for inspiration. “Throughout the movie Prachi will be seen in tight churidaars and tight skirts with long flowing hair. It is only in the latter part of the movie that her look will be changed,” says Rushi.
In the film, Prachi plays Mumtaz a conservative Muslim girl. A part of the movie will see Prachi sporting Dimple Kapadia’s Bobby look. She was hesitant to go ahead with a look inspired by such an iconic film. “Dimple looked so gorgeous that I didn’t want to be compared to her. Milan Luthria convinced me. In fact, he gave us a month to work on our bodies for the song. While he wanted Emraan to flaunt his six-pack in the song, he wanted me to tone my body,” says Prachi.
