Rahamania will be the ace composer’s first 3D show in the country. After honouring 11 musicians in the Swara Veda Music Concert on 11.11.11, NTR Memorial Trust is going to up the ante this year with the spectacular 3D music show, “Rahamania”, by A.R. Rahman and his 96-member troupe on 1.12.12.
While Rahman is busy with his Hollywood assignment, he has managed to spare some time to help the noble cause behind this event. The proceeds from the show will go towards the studies of poor students in NTR Model School, orphans and other charity activities.
Like last year, when the show was held on 11.11.11, the organisers wanted to hold the show on 12.12.12, but the Oscar-winning composer could only spare time on December 1. “We are negotiating with Rahman but nothing is finalised yet. However, Rahman has a big heart and clearly understood the nobility behind our show,” says leading producer Maganti Gopinath, one of the organisers.
The organisers are reportedly digging deep into their pockets and will be spending around `4 to `5 crore for the event including `2 crore for Rahman’s troupe. “It will be a visual spectacle, so don’t miss the live action,” adds Teja.
