Indian fans gear up for Enrique

Here comes a treat for music lovers. Come October and pop sensation Enrique Iglesias embarks on a three-city tour to the country. The global phenomenon will perform in Pune at Amanora Park Town, on October 17, HUDA Grounds in Gurgaon on October 19 and Bengaluru on October 21.

“This will be a full scale, larger than life production and fans are going to have a blast. He’s coming down with a full-fledged band and complete production,” informs Vijay Nair, CEO, Only Much Louder. “Since his first visit to India, Enrique has delivered multiple hits, and his profile has become much larger. For many of his younger fans, this would be the first time they get to see him live,” says Vijay.
Sajid Kadri, 23, who considers chartbusters like Hero, Bailamos, Escape, Rhythm Divine and Love To See You Cry as soul songs says, “Being there to witness the show is going to be a lifetime experience.” Another “diehard” fan, Shyba Babu, 25 adds, “Watching him live will be a dream come true.”
After the two-city tour to Bengaluru and Mumbai in 2004, the pop sensation has been focusing on his Indian fans. He collaborated with singer Sunidhi Chauhan for the track Heartbeat, which features on the Indian edition of his album Euphoria.
Enrique says, “It’s been a long time since my last tour in India and I have been dying to come back and perform in front of one of the best and craziest crowds in the world. I’m excited about this visit and promise to give a great show and do my best so everyone has a great time… it’s going to be awesome.”
