Scotland Yard has arrested one more man as part of its investigation into the attack on Lt. Gen. Kuldip Singh Brar (Retd.) in London on September 30.
The 27-year-old man was arrested from a residence in west London on Sunday, on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. He remains in custody at a south London police station, the Met police said.
He is 13th person to be arrested in connection with the attack on the 78-year-old general.
The police last week released 10 people, including two women, from custody on police bail after questioning. They will have to present themselves to the police in November pending further inquiries. However, none of the 10 people have been charged as yet.
On Monday, 33-year-old Barjinder Singh Sangha and 34-year-old Mandeep Singh Sandhu were formally charged with wounding Lt. Gen. Brar “with intent to do grievous bodily harm” in Westminster magistrates’ court.

The government has decided to upgrade the security cover of Lt. Gen. K.S. Brar (Retd). The issue of communication gap between the defence establishment and the home ministry and the probable leak of information about his travel plans found mention in a high-level review meeting convened by home secretary R.K. Singh on Tuesday.
Security review of Lt. Gen. Brar comes a week after the assassination bid on the decorated retired Army officer.
It was decided in the meeting that Lt. Gen. Brar will get round-the-clock tight security by Army soldiers and adequate steps will be taken in future to ensure that all stakeholders are informed in advance about his travel plans. Lt. Gen. Brar will be given Z-plus security cover while he is in the country.
