Saif-Bebo save romance for real life

While Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have “made it official” in real life, if you expect to see the husband-wife pair on the big screen soon, think again. Friends of the couple tell us that the actors will not be signing any films together for the next year-and-a-half at the very least, and that this is a deliberate decision Saif and Bebo have made.

“This was a conscious call taken by the couple,” a friend of Saif’s tells us. “This is for professional reasons rather than personal ones. Their onscreen pairing has not seen much success so far — be it in Agent Vinod, Kurbaan or Tashan. Professional sense dictates that they’re better off working with other colleagues.”
This leaves the field open for Saif to team up with Deepika Padukone, with whom his sizzling onscreen chemistry has led to box office success, while Kareena can continue working with the other Khans, and the younger lot, like Imran Khan, Hrithik Roshan and cousin Ranbir Kapoor.
“Saif has five or six films lined up, but none of them will feature Kareena. They are a mature couple, and such decisions have to be taken with the head, and not the heart. They’ve been together a long time now and they share a perfect understanding,” a source shares.
So all the romance between Mr and Mrs Khan will be saved for real life only, for the time being. And for a newly wedded couple, perhaps that’s just as it should be! What do you say folks?
