‘Trust Congress, TD and face problems’

Making it clear that the only motive behind her padayatra was to bring back ‘Rajanna Rajyam’, YSR Congress leader Y.S. Sharmila Reddy said that “the people would continue to face problems in their lives if they continued to believe both the Congress and the Telugu Desam.”

Addressing people on the second day of her Maro Praja Prastanam on Friday, Ms Sharmila accused the Congress of “watering down all the welfare schemes initiated by YSR” and promised that her brother and YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would bring back those schemes if voted to power.

She also accused the present Congress government and the TD, while it was in power, of having ignored the plight of farmers.
