[1]It was an event where fashion spoke for a noble cause. Recently, Designer’s INC joined hands with with NGO Nanhi Chhaan to present an exhibition aimed at highlighting two different causes — save the girl child and save the environment.
The participating designers included fashion designer Upasana Jaipuria, jewellery designer Purnima Jhunjhunwala, jewellery and accessory designers Sasha and Kaabia Grewal, along with Princess Vaishnavi of Kishangarh.
Apart from the exquisite collection from the designers handcrafted phulkari dupattas, handwoven mats and many other handcrafted items made by the members of the NGO were displayed at the exhibition. “It’s an outstanding initiative that has used fashion and glamour to spread a socially relevant message. I am proud to be a part of it,” said designer Upasana Jaipuria.
