Neha Dhupia is excited about the way her career is shaping up. And why not? With hits like Singh Is Kinng, Shootout At Lokhandwala and the recent De Dana Dhan, the actress has made a niche for herself not only in big-budget films, but also small-sized ventures.
But there’s more. Neha is also making her presence felt in the international circuit with two American tele-series — Bollywood Hero and Jessica Simpson’s reality show The Price of Beauty. “I’m glad people can associate me with all kinds of cinema. That way I get the best of both worlds. In fact smaller budget films satisfy my cravings as an actor,” says Neha. “I am glad she says that today people can associate me with all types of cinema. In her next venture, the actress will be seen in a deglam avatar in With Love To Obama, essaying the role of a politician modelled on Mayawati. “It’s a satire on how worldwide recession affected a small village in India as much as it hit the Americans. I’m working on the role and it demands time. Mayawati has a brilliant way of stating important points in a matter-of-fact manner. I hope I have been able to manage that,” she adds.
Besides this she’ll also be starring in My Friend Hitler, a film that’s already having its fair share of controversies.
