Union minister Shashi Tharoor said he hoped action would be taken against the person who misbehaved with his wife at the Thiruvananthapuram airport when they arrived on Monday.
A large number of Congress workers and admirers of Shashi Tharoor had gathered at the airport to accord him a rousing reception.
As the crowd went out of control, a youth allegedly misbehaved with Tharoor’s wife Sunanda.
The video clip of incident went viral on the net. In Kozhikode, CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said the incident reflected the Congress culture.
He said Congres leader Ambika Soni and Oscar Fernandez’ wife too had similar experiences when they came to the state.
