The government on Thursday decided to offload 10 per cent of its 100 per cent holding in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
In a statement issued after the meeting, the government said, “The CCEA has approved divestment of 10 per cent equity in HAL through IPO route in the domestic market as per the SEBI regulations.”
