As part of intensifying the probe against the Amway India Enterprises, the crime branch of police has decided to arrest Amway India Directors-Pahlavi Suresh Shraff and Shabdul Suresh Shraff and hundred odd senior executives working in Kerala.
According to Crime Branch SP P.A. Valsan, the arrest will be carried out in the coming days. “We are collecting evidence against hundred odd men who amassed crores of rupees from the public by selling Amway products over the years”.
He added that the distributers at the lower level of Amway will be made witnesses and statements will be recorded.
Meanwhile, Thamarasse-ry Judicial First Class Magistrate on Saturday remanded P.A. Rajmohan, the State Distributor of Amway India Enterprises Pvt Ltd.
He was arrested on the basis of a complaint from a Kochi-based housewife for allegedly cheating her.
He has been charged for violation of Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (banning) Act.
