Raipur, July 9: In a major breakthrough, police on Friday arrested a man who allegedly harboured the Maoists involved in the killing of CRPF jawans at Dhorai in Narayanpur district on June 29.
Leema Chand Patel, vice-president of the local agricultural market, allegedly helped the Maoists prior to their attack on the CRPF contingent, superintendent of police Rahul Bhagat told this newspaper.
Leema ran a ration shop in the village.
The alleged Maoist sympathiser was arrested from his village of Mongera. He reportedly admitted to have arranged food, torches, generators etc, for the Maoists before the attack, the SP said.
