Anushka hits the big music league

She is one of the most familiar faces at red carpet events and gigs across the country. It’s probably all that networking apart from her stellar talent of course, that helped Anushka Manchanda bag this prestigious biggie!

The singer has collaborated with the British Electronica, Trance and Progressive House music sensation, Nicholas Bracegirdle aka Chicane on a brand new track. Produced by Chicane himself, the track has been sung by Anushka; moving her into a list of global artists who’ve collaborated with Chicane includes the likes of Bryan Adams and Armin van Buren amongst others. There’s more. As part of Mumbai’s hip bar Blue Frog’s five year anniversary celebrations, Chicane will be performing with Anushka at Blue Frog today. As part of Chicane’s India tour, the organisers will be shooting an exclusive episode of Blue Frog Diaries which will chronicle the track’s creation.
An excited Anushka says, “I used to play Don’t Give Up by Chicane on loop. It was one of my favorite tracks before I even understood what electronic music was. To be able to work with him is amazing. I love the sound of the track and I cannot wait to put the final vocals down.”
