Karisma turns to radio jockeying

Video might have killed the radio star, but not in this case. With her grand Bollywood comeback Dangerous Ishq spluttering at the box office, Karisma Kapoor is now looking at other avenues — namely radio — to ensure she stays in the glam game.

And this time round, she’s chosen a pretty foolproof formula: She will be dishing the dope on style, fashion and grooming — all the things she’s considered to have an innate sense for — on her radio show.
The segment that Lolo will host is called Big on Style. From unveiling trends, explaining the ideal way of dressing depending on your body type, tips for hair and skin care and personal grooming, Karisma will chat about it all with listeners.
“Having worked in movies and television, I was extremely keen to try a new medium, hence I decided to do radio,” said the star, adding, “I will share some of my personal tips along with trends that I have observed.”
