bengaluru, July 11: Coozy Katrak-trained Moonlight Romance was brilliantly ridden by Richard Hughes to claim the Kingfisher Derby Bangalore, the major attraction of the races held here on Sunday.
After tracking the pace setting stable mate Moon Star in to the straight, the next-in-demand Moonlight Romance bolted to the front and the big lead established by Hughes held him in good stead to win quiet convincingly from late finishing Sun Kingdom.
