[1]Sanjay Leela Bhansali is not best known for his sociable skills. But the filmmaker surprised the crew of Ram Leela when he threw a surprise birthday party for actress Richa Chadda on the sets of his film.
Richa had had a very rough day due to a gruelling shoot and was being tended to by a doctor at the end of a hard day when the surprise was brought in. “She was not expecting it to say the least,” says a crew member on the sets who was himself surprised by SLB’s impromptu burst of enthusiasm. “Sir was a complete taskmaster. He put up a great act and didn’t wish her until midnight. Nobody had a clue about the beautiful cake he had ordered for Richa. She was blown by the surprise and it totally made her day,” he adds.
