John wants to turn to direction now

John Abraham may have started off as an actor and then tried on the mantle of producer with Vicky Donor. But the actor is now ready to move behind the camera. He admitted to us that he intends to try his hand at direction. “When I look at Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, I do think in my head about directing them in my films.

I have a few ideas in terms of stories and scripts. It might take some time, but direction is definitely on the cards,”John shares with us. And while most of his colleagues talk about being “a director’s actor”, John assures us that he will completely be “an actor’s director”.
As of now, John is ecstatic about the feedback he has received for Race 2, although he’s quick to clarify, “In an ensemble cast, no one actor can take the credit.” He says he doesn’t want to limit himself to acting only. Being in this industry, there are other avenues I'd want to explore,” he says.
