40 years after Bobby, Rishi tells his story

Forty years after the release of Bobby (1973), Rishi Kapoor will be releasing his biography which is currently a work in progress. In fact, the release is expected to happen in September this year, when the veteran actor turns 61.

A source says, “The biography has been a closely guarded secret but work has been on for quite some time now. Rishiji will be talking in detail about his early entry into the film industry, being a part of the first family of Bollywood, etc. He will also focus on his reign as a romantic hero and his subsequent transition into senior characters.”
Rishi is also expected to talk about his son Ranbir Kapoor in his story but he will stay away from all things controversial.
When contacted, the senior Kapoor did confirm that work on his biography is on and that it will definitely release this year. We are waiting!
