As Pakistan took exception to the home secretary, Mr G.K. Pillai's recent remarks on ISI's role in Mumbai attacks, India on Friday said that there is no acrimony between the two sides on the issue.
"Whatever was to be said has been said," Krishna, who was here on a three-day visit, told reporters.
He was responding to a question on Pillai's remarks two days ago that Pakistani-American terror suspect David Headley had revealed to interrogators that ISI and JuD chief Hafiz Saeed had played a "much more significant role" in planning and executing the Mumbai terror attacks.
Pakistan foreign minister, Mr Shah Mahmood Qureshi, who held talks with Mr Krishna on Thursday, took exception to Pillai's remarks.
"There is no acrimony between the two sides," Krishna said as he wrapped up his visit here. "Acrimony was among those who had been asking (such) questions."
