A local court in Bhilwara awarded life imprisonment to four people for raping a minor girl after abducting her while she was attending to her mother in a hospital. But the court acquitted one of the accused as the prosecution could not establish the case against him. The court also slapped a fine of `15,000 on the convicts. The court pronounced its verdict in Bhilwara on Friday.
According to the prosecution, the incident occurred in October, 2011, when the victim came to a hospital with her mother. The victim said four persons, Pappu alias Bhoora, Radheshyam, Jagdish, Mahendra and Kailash visited the hospital pretending to care for the victim’s mother as all of them were known to the family.
The court took serious note of the incident and awarded all of them life imprisonment.
