Karimnagar: Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar demanded the state government to ensure the fair share of Telangana region in the total power generated in the state.
Speaking to reporters at Husnabad on Wednesday, the MP asked the government to come to the rescue of farmers by ending irregular power cuts. He wanted the state government to reveal the total power generation and district-wise allocation in the state.
Mr Prabhakar said farmers in Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency were facing severe losses due to the undeclared power cuts.
He added that he would at any cost bring gas to Nedunur power plant if it’s constructed was completed.
