[1]Kochi: Traffic on several roads in the city and rural areas will be regulated because of the visit of VIPs and VVIPs including Prime Minister on Monday and Tuesday. The assistant commissioner of traffic police has advised commuters not to take the following roads during the restricted time to avoid inconvenience.
Monday – 3 pm to 6 pm: Stretch from Infopark to Irimbanam Junction via Kakkanad Rajagiri Valley Road and stretch from Irimbanam Junction to Ambalamugal.
Monday – 5 pm to 6 pm: All main and pocket roads from Port Trust, Mattanchery Wharf, Port Trust Hospital Junction to Ernakulam via Bristow Road. Stretch from Mattanchery Wharf to Taj Vivanta and Vembanad Gate. Stretch from ATS Junction, B.O.T to Taj Vivanta. Road from Taj Vivanta to Vathuruthi Road via Bristow Road.
Monday – 2 pm to 8 pm: Tipper lorries are not allowed to take the Infopark-Irimbanam Road, Irimbanam-Ambalamugal Road and Karingachira-Thrippunithura-Petta Road.
Tuesday – 8.45 am to 11 am: All roads from Willingdon Island and Taj Vivanta to Vathuruthi B.O.T, Thevara Ferry and Kundannur Junction via Mattanchery Wharf and Bristow Road.
Tuesday – 2.15 pm to 2.50 pm: Stretch from Taj Vivanta to Vembanad Gate via Bristow Road.
