Unlike most of her Kapoor contemporaries, she hasn’t benefited much from her last name. If anything, Shraddha has had a tough time shrugging off the baggage that comes with it. Talking about her father’s infamous sting operation, the actress says, “No one wants to see his or her parents go through such embarrassment.

It was undoubtedly the roughest patch of my life, but we are a strong family and dealt with it in a mature way. Like my mother always says, let bygones be bygones.”
But it’s not just Shraddha’s father who was embroiled in controversies. Even her brother was allegedly caught at a rave party. Reacting to the same Shraddha says, “Let me clarify that it was a misunderstanding. He wasn’t caught doing any negative activity.”
Personal tribulations aside, Shraddha has a lot to look forward to this year, like Ashiqui 2. “I am also doing a film with KJo, and I will choose quality over quantity even in the future,” smiles the actress.
