Boney protects Jhanvi from paparazzi

Boney Kapoor was every bit the proud husband at a recent social do organised to celebrate wife Sridevi’s Padma Shri. But later that evening, he also turned into an angry father when the paparazzi tried to speak to his older daughter, Jhanvi, who was well-turned out in a chic pink strapless dress and high heels.

“A few mediapersons walked up to Jhanvi and asked her if and when she would like to make a foray into Bollywood. It is pretty obvious from her appearances that she is being presented as an upcoming star, but Boney wasn’t very happy about the questions. He bluntly asked the mediapersons to back off and not hound his daughter about questions related to her career as she is too young to talk about it,” says an eyewitness.
Those close to the director suspect that there were more reasons than one responsible for Boney’s foul mood on Tuesday. That his son Arjun Kapoor didn’t turn up for the event, along with most Bollywood bigwigs, might have been one of them if sources are to be believed.
