The family of acid attack victim Preeti Rathi has found accommodation in the city with the intervention of Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray. They have been put up in the well-furbished dharmashala near CST, which is in close proximity of Masina Hospital, where the victim is recuperating from burn injuries.
“We have extended our full support to the aggrieved family and they can now stay for as many days as they want at dharmashala. We will bear all the expenses,” said local Shiv Sena corporator Ganesh Sanap, who arranged for the accommodation. He added, “Yuva Sena leader Aditya Thackeray is taking personal interest in the matter and we are committed to help the family to the best of our capacity.”
Reacting to the gesture, Vinod Dahiya, uncle of Preeti, said, “I am very thankful to the people who have been with me.”
