An unbeaten 80 by man of the match Shiv Kant Sharma helped Ajmal Khan Club beat Palecan Club by five wickets in the final of the 7th Palecan Mahesh Chand Trophy Under-4 cricket tournament at the Vinay Marg grounds here on Thursday.
Chasing 147, Ajmal Khan Club cruised to target in 29 overs, for the loss of five wickets.
Earlier, Palecan Club were bowled out for 146 in 33 overs as Pradeep (3/15) and Rohit Kumar (3/12) ripped through their batting line-up. Suraj Chouhan top scored with 56 while Virender Singh Negi chipped in with 32.
Sharma was also named the best batsman while the best bowler award went to Kumar.
