Akshay is hooked to the Sufi flavour

It is a known fact that when Akshay Kumar takes off for a family holiday twice a year, he makes it a point to stay away from all things film-related. It’s no different this time around either, as he has been enjoying his quiet time with Twinkle and his children Aarav and Nitara.

But while he is maintaining a safe distance from work, he hasn’t been able to stay away from a song from his upcoming film Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara. “Akshay is completely hooked to the track Ye Tune Kya Kiya from his film,” informs a source. Akshay says, “Ye Tune Kya Kiya is one of the best tracks I’ve come across in my career. Also, it’s been beautifully picturised in Muscat and Mumbai.”
Even though Akshay has heard the song several times during the film’s shoot, he has not got tired of it. We hear that right from the time he stepped into his flight to the US, he has been playing it on loop. “Earlier this year he was very high on Mujh Mein Tu (Special 26) and so fascinated was he with the composition that he even decided to croon it himself,” says a close associate of the actor. “But in the case of Ye Tune Kya Kiya, Akshay is thoroughly enjoying it as a listener. He is in love with the Sufi flavour of the song.”
