[1]The actor may be aware of the turn of events but John Abraham is known to be a man who doesn’t like to create noise during a controversy. Recently, after some rumours surfaced about Shraddha Kapoor refusing to work with John in Aneez Bazmee’s Welcome, it was the actress’ brother Siddhant Kapoor who stepped in to ensure that there is no bad blood between them.
Siddhant, who has been on good terms with John after working together in Shootout At Wadala, went out of his way to clarify the misunderstanding. “Siddhant has been trying to get in touch with John. But due to a packed schedule of the latter’s film Madras Cafe, John has been neck-deep in work,” says their common friend.
Apparently, Shraddha was never offered the role in Welcome. Hence, the team of the film is upset with the rumours about Shraddha refusing to work with John. “We never approached her. John is a star and is considered among the topmost commercially viable actors. We are clueless about what led to this,” says a source from the unit.
