CM to chair governing body of Innovation Zone

Kochi: The reconstituted governing body of Kerala Technological Innovation Zone will hold its first meeting at chief minister Oommen Chandy’s chamber at the secretariat at 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Chandy is the chairman of the zone.
The meeting is likely to finalise an action plan for the proposed zone coming up at Kinfra Hitech Park, Kalamassery, Kochi. The zone, which will house various incubators, will have 5 lakh sqft built-up area.
IT Minister and zone’s vice-chairman P.K. Kunhalikutty, IT principal secretary P.H. Kurien and Technopark TBI chief K.C. Chandrasekharan  Nair , among others, will attend the meeting.
