K Chandrashekar Rao may get Z-Plus security

Hyderabad: The State Police may provide Z-Plus category security to Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao.
KCR's security cover may be strengthened following alleged threat to his life. TRS leaders - Etela Rajender and T Harish Rao on Tuesday alleged that some Seemandhra businessmen were conspiring to assassinate KCR. They said they gained information about a "Supari", murder contract to mafia being given by some Seemandhra businessmen. They said they had passed on all the information they had to the IG of the Intelligence for further action.
Etela demanded that the police provide Z Plus category security to KCR. They warned of dire consequences if anything happens to KCR.
Meanwhile, according to sources, the State Police took a serious view of these allegations and decided to review the security cover being given to KCR. Therefore, in view of the threats, the police might consider giving him Z Plus category.
