Imran gifts himself a swanky new ride

Imran Khan believes in working hard, but not without rewarding himself for it once in a while. The actor who recently renovated his plush bungalow, has now bought himself a swanky new Ferrari. But he is no hurry to race ahead professionally.

“I am content taking small steps. Big leaps can be scary,” he says. The plan seems to be working for Imran who has two upcoming films with Ekta Kapoor and Karan Johar. “I am very happy that big names want to work with me. But rather than being content with things working in my favour, I want to go out there and put in more effort,” he says.
But the success doesn’t mean that comparisons with his famous mama, Aamir Khan have come to a halt. Is it pressurising still? “Of course it is pressurising! He has such set such high standards. But instead of complaining and feeling bogged down by the pressure, I want to face it as a challenge,” he says adding, “I don’t want to let my family down. I have become extra cautious while signing films these days. I made some silly mistakes at the beginning of my career and I don’t want to repeat them. But I am not being very harsh on myself. Just moving on.”
