New Delhi: Central agencies have learnt that Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) has clearly indicated to leaders of all Sikh terrorist groups that they must carry out terror attacks on Indian soil if they have to justify their stay in Pakistan, top arrested Lashkar-e-Tayyaba operative Abdul Karim Tunda has revealed.
The ISI has offered Babbar Khalsa (BKI) operatives suitable liaising with functional terror groups like the LeT for unleashing terror and targeting prominent religious leaders in Punjab, security sources said.
Tunda’s association with BKI goes back to the 2005 Satyam cinema hall blasts in the national capital where BKI members had used Tunda’s networks to supply arms, ammunition and terror operatives in India, the sources said.
Intelligence reports reveal that the ISI held at least two important meetings in February and March 2013 with Pakistan-based leaders of various Sikh extremist outfits, like Wadhawa Singh (BKI), Paramjeet Singh Panjawar (KCF), Lakhweer Singh Rode (ISYF), Jagtar Singh Tara (KTF), Ranjeet Singh Meeta (KZF), Gajinder Singh of Dal Khalsa and Harminder Singh Mintu of KLF. Even as late as April 2013, Ratandeep had trained Sikh militant operatives at a farmhouse in Lahore. Currently, Ratandeep is believed to have assembled a small group of Sikh youth in Pakistan and is indoctrinating them and providing training on assembly of IEDs and handling of weapons such as AK-47s and small arms. 
Officials said that Tunda’s "vast canvas" of terror network can be gauged from the fact that in September-October 2010, BKI leader Wadhawa Singh contacted Tunda for pushing explosives into India. “The explosives had to be sent somewhere in Delhi or Punjab. However, the plan was foiled after Tunda’s operatives were arrested in Bangladesh," the official said.
Central agencies are on the alert about the fresh threats posed by BKI which has operational bases in countries like Thailand, Cambodia and also in the CIS.Tunda has a well-knit terror network across Pakistan, Bangladesh and Burma. He has pushed many explosives and terrorist in India through the Bangladesh border since 1998, the sources said.
It is learnt that a month before the Commonwealth Games, Hafiz Saeed directed Tunda to carry out several blasts. Tunda was pushing his men and arms and ammunition to India through Bangladesh.
However, some of them were nabbed in Dhaka and some in West Bengal during joint operations by police forces.Tunda had also been associated with Rohingya operatives active in Burma and the police will probe the role of his terror network in carrying out the recent blasts in Bodh Gaya.For the last two decades, Tunda has been giving motivational speeches across various madrasas, playing a major role in recruiting poor youth from Pakistan and India who fled to that country and were recruited as Indian Mujahideen (IM) members. “As a motivated speaker, Tunda had been in great demand for giving speeches in madrasas in Pakistan,” a security official said.
Sources said that in the 1990s, Tunda trained many Kashmir militants and was actively involved in the militancy which had gripped the Valley in that decade. While he has claimed to have kept in touch with a few madrasas in India, the agencies will verify the claims and assertions made in his statements. Tunda was arrested on Friday after being on the run in several countries in the last two decades.

New Delhi: Top arrested Lashkar-e-Tayyaba operative Abdul Karim Tunda has exposed the flourishing anti-India terror network of Pakistan Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). He has spilled the beans on the ISI-Lashkar-Babbar Khalsa (BKI) network where more than a dozen Sikh terrorists are being given shelter, funding, training in weapons and explosives for unleashing terror strikes in the country.
Tunda’s interrogation is helping piece together information which exposes a well-designed plan to carry out fresh attacks. Intelli­g­ence agencies who netted Tunda were also on trail of the outfit’s attempts to establish new madrasas with Pak­istani funding in the Gulf countries. Tunda himself ran a number of madrasas in Karachi and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under the name of Mehdud Taleem Islam-e-Dar Al-Funoon, Delhi police sources said.
Having direct links with 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed, LeT operational com­mander Zaki-ur Rehman Lak­hvi and one of India’s most wanted terrorists Dawood Ibrahim, Tunda claimed that he played a role in introducing Saeed to Daw­ood, for whom he was handling the fake Indian currency network. He may have met Saeed days before his arrest, but agencies are yet to verify these claims.
Tunda has also nailed Pakistan’s lie saying Daw­ood stayed in Karachi with ISI keeping a close watch. Tunda also claimed he was aware of the 26/11 conspiracy, but did not take part in the training of fidayeen and operational details.
During interrogation by Delhi police special cell sleuths, Tunda mentioned Ratandeep Singh of BKI, who has a well-oiled, active Sikh militant network in Pakistan and was trained by the ISI in weapons and explosives from 1993 onwards.

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh anti-terror intelligence officials claim Dawood aide Abdul Karim Tunda, who was arrested on Friday, will prove to be a rich source of inputs on terror networks operating in the city including LeT terror operatives like Zaki-ur-Rehman.
Tunda, who had been instigating youths from India, including Hyderabad, to wage a war against the country, was staying in a double-storied building in Muridke of Pakistan where he was selling perfumes.
An intel official said, “We are going to grill him. The Karachi project to liberate Hyderabad will be mostly unravelled. He may also have details of several absconding old-time terror suspects of the Shahed Bilal module, Saleem Junaid module and the Faisuddin gang.”
Some of the terrorists whose whereabouts the officials would like to know are Bada Sajid from Hyderabad and Amir Reza Khan, Abdul Bari, Farhautullah Gori, Zaki-ur-Rehman of LeT who have been named as accused in several cases including the Ganesh Temple conspiracy case, task force bombing in 2005 and series of bomb blasts.
