After Chalo Dilli, Lara and Vinay to say, Chalo China

There has been talk for a while now about Chalo China, the sequel to Vinay Pathak and Lara Dutta’s Chalo Dilli. However, no news had been forthcoming from the parties involved.

Now, an announcement is nearly ready to be made, and we hear that while Chalo China will definitely have Vinay and Lara reprise their roles, there will be a change in director. Instead of Shashant Shah, the director of Chalo Dilli, Shashank Ghosh will now be at the helm.
“Though there was a bit of confusion over whether or not Shashank would be on board, it can now be said that he is, in fact, directing the film. Work is now on in full swing for the film and Lara and Vinay are setting aside their dates for the project,” our source shared.
Producer Krishika Lulla confirmed, “Shashank is on board. He has come up with something really terrific and Lara as well as Vinay are supercharged. We are trying to bring the film on the floors this year and hope to release it next year.”
