NT Rama Rao was in favour of Andhra Pradesh's division: KT Rama Rao

Hyderabad: TRS MLA K. Tarakarama Rao on Friday claimed that TDP founder late N.T. Rama Rao was in favour of division of Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing a press conference here, KTR shared the news clippings of statements issued by NTR during the Jai Andhra movement wherein he along with ANR stated that people should live happily by dividing Andhra and Telangana state.
He said that the Jai Andhra movement enjoyed the support of the then cine stars including NTR, Krishna, ANR and others.
He countered TDP leader Nandamuri Harikrishna's claim that his father NTR struggled for the sake of unity among Telugus. Asking Harikrishna to update his knowledge of history, he advised him to follow his father's ideals by supporting bifurcation of state.
KTR also accused TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu of creating obstacles in the formation of Telangana State using his party MPs in the Parliament.
