Rajiv Foundation distributes 250 vehicles to disabled persons

The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation Saturday distributed 250 vehicles to differently-abled persons across the country to commemorate the birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister.

Congress vice president and trustee of the foundation Rahul Gandhi handed over keys of 75-motored vehicles to the selected beneficiaries at a function at Jawahar Bhawan here.

The event was also attended by Rajiv Gandhi’s daughter and executive trustee of the foundation Priyanka Vadra.

The remaining 175 vehicles will be distributed in different parts of the country Saturday.

Last year, 450 people were given such vehicles.

Rajiv Gandhi’s birth anniversary was on August 20.
