Southern beauty Vidya Balan, who has won several accolades for her struggling mother act in Paa or the brutally seductive villager in Ishqiya, is known famously for getting under the skin of her character.
Taking her penchant for perfection a step further recently, Vidya Balan went all out to research the Victorian era for a photo shoot for a popular magazine.
To morph into the avatar of a glamorous Victorian inspired beauty, Vidya spent a considerable amount of time going about the details of the shoot and did her homework on the theme way before its schedule.
Says a source,“Vidya is a thorough professional. To prepare for the shoot she read some Victorian books and looked up a lot of pictures. She wanted to get the look just right, but then again that’s the kind of perfectionist she is.”
