Opening bowlers Tendai Chatara and Tinashe Panyangara, who went into the match with only five Test caps between them, started the Pakistan slide with some disciplined bowling.
Scores: Pakistan (1st innings) 249/9 in 89.5 overs (Azhar Ali 78, Misbah-ul Haq 53, Saeed Ajmal (batting) 49, Panyangara 3/71) vs Zimbabwe
