A 30-year-old man was shot dead by two motorcycle-borne assailants soon after he was acquitted in an attempt to murder case by a Saket court. The incident took place near the Saket court complex in South Delhi on Thursday afternoon. The police has identified the assailants.
A senior official said Kapil, the deceased, was a resident of Sangam Vihar.
He was involved in a number of criminal cases.
